Mr. Uday Khemka is educated at Eton College. He received his undergraduate and Masters degrees at Cambridge University and received an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School (Baker Scholar).
He is the Vice-Chairman of the SUN Group of Companies and has more than 31 years of investment, investment banking and entrepreneurial experience. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Indian School of Business (ISB) in Hyderabad and the Public Health Foundation of India as well as the Board of The Synergos Institute in New York and has been elected a “Global Leader for Tomorrow” at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2005.
He is also a member of the Board for the Climate Group in India. Additionally, he sits on the Advisory Board of the Smith School of Enterprise & the Environment at Oxford University and is a member of His Majesty King Charles III’s Sustainable Markets Council, which launched the Sustainable Markets Initiative. He is also a Commissioner of the Climate Capital Mobilisation Accelerator and serves as Senior Climate Advisor to the Institutional Investors Roundtable. Previously, he co-chaired the Clean Energy Finance Forum (CEFF), jointly established by Prime Minister Modi and President Obama, aimed at driving investment to support India’s 175 GW clean energy target for 2022.
Mr. Uday Khemka has been appointed on the Board of Indag on October 08, 2014.
