Nabha School fights COVID-19 with Technology
Education breeds confidence, confidence breeds hope, hope breeds peace.
Maharani Gurcharan Kaur Euro Group Preparatory School at Nabha was established to provide progressive education for girls while grounding them in strong values and a modern worldview.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, learning moved from classrooms to homes. In response, Indag and Nabha Foundation supported the shift to online teaching through Zoom and WhatsApp-based classes.
Online Classes: The New Normal
- Classes were conducted every day from Monday to Friday via Zoom and WhatsApp video calls.
- Special Saturday sessions were held to improve speaking and reading skills.
- Each day began with counselling on hygiene, safety, and health awareness.
To keep children engaged and positive during stressful times, extra-curricular activities were also organised regularly.
Festivals such as Raksha Bandhan, Independence Day, and Teej were celebrated online with strong participation and complete safety.
Despite the challenges of the pandemic, the school faculty and administration demonstrated exceptional commitment to safeguarding students’ learning and well-being.
