Indag-YouthReach celebrates International Yoga Day in Reru!
Yoga is the journey of the self, to the self, through the self.
Yoga is an ancient physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in India. The word yoga derives from Sanskrit and symbolizes the union of body and consciousness.
Indag has long believed in giving back to society and promoting social well-being. To create meaningful impact, we have been working closely with YouthReach, a national non-profit organization based in New Delhi.
On 21st June 2020, a yoga event was organised to celebrate International Yoga Day with the people of Reru village in Himachal Pradesh under Project Chetna–Ek Nayi Seher, a joint initiative of Indag Rubber Ltd. and YouthReach.
On this occasion, the village community was educated about different yoga asanas, meditation, and the overall health benefits of regular practice.
Strict precautions such as mask usage and social distancing were observed throughout the event. The program helped refresh the environment and spread positivity among the people of Reru village.
